Essex Community Goals: 7-a-side Football Tournament

 

What is Essex Community Goals?

 

A collaborative initiative set up by passionate people within Essex Police Service who wish to engage with our youth, using sport, music and other imaginative ideas to spread awareness.

 

This event will be hosted by Essex Police with the support and sponsorship of a number of partnership agencies. 

 

Further information:

 

The tournament will take place at on Saturday the 20th June between the hours of 9am and 4pm at Essex Police College, 48 St Margaret’s Rd, Springfield, Chelmsford CM2 6DT.

 

Each player will have lunch and a drink provided and there will be hot/cold refreshments available for purchase at the venue for spectators.

 

Please ensure your young person has suitable clothing for sports/weather, studded boots, and shin pads.

 

There is a limit of 10 spaces. Please book your place as soon as possible to be part of the Yellow Door team!

  2. No smoking or vaping or spitting during or around the event.
  3. No drinking alcohol or taking drugs during the event. 
  4. No food or drink (water is acceptable) to be taken onto the playing field. 
  5. Respect coaches and all members of staff. 
  6. Respect all other teams and individuals taking part in this event. 
  7. Respect other people’s belongings.
  8. Play by the event rules.
  9. Play fairly.
  10. Be gracious and victorious in defeat.
  11. I understand that if I do not follow and abide by these rules, I will not be allowed to take part in future events provided
